GUIDANCE FOR SENDING SMALL ITEMS OF EVIDENTIAL MEDIA TO US:
We no do not accept items via the DX service. Therefore please be sure that all small post items are sufficiently insured and dispatched to us via the Royal Mail 'Special Delivery Guaranteed by 9am' service.
The overall packaging for all small post items should be sized no greater than 45 x 35 x 16 cm and weigh no more than 2 kg.
Please ensure that an adequately padded envelope or box is used for the outer packaging. This should be clearly marked 'FRAGILE' on at least two sides. Within this a further envelope or antistatic wallet, as appropriate, should be labelled and used to keep each batch of Audio Cassette Tapes, CDs, DVDs, Hard Drives, Memory Sticks/Cards, Mobile Phones and/or other media/devices together in one place. Immediately after dispatch please notify us in writing of the tracking reference for the package using the contact details shown here.
COLLECTION OF HIGHLY SENSITIVE OR BULKY EVIDENTIAL MEDIA:
The sensitive nature of our services means our sites do not routinely accept hand delivered items of evidential media directly from clients.
The only exceptions to the above are if delivery is being performed strictly in accordance with conditions of a specific appointment which has been previously agreed in writing by us. Typically, such deliveries are only made via police escort.
Fusion Corporation R&D operate on a wide geographical basis. We therefore may perform attendances for the collection of large, bulky or extremely sensitive evidential media from any offices or venues in accordance with conditions previously specified by us in writing.
NOTE: Care should be taken to avoid evidence being damaged, corrupted or mixed up. You should ensure that all individual items are adequately packaged and referenced with identification labels or tags prior to collection. We may be able to assist or otherwise supply acceptable materials and forms for any relevant tasks, if requested in advance. GUIDANCE ON SENDING NON-PHYSICAL EVIDENTIAL MEDIA TO US:
The vast majority of evidential media we receive are likely to be via postal dispatch or scheduled personal attendances and collections. We do understand however that some clients may have only themselves obtained/created items in a non-physical form e.g., via email attachment, a mobile device app or even a social media/fileshare download facility.
Transferring evidential information can cause anxieties when time or other circumstances do not allow clients to make safe physical deliveries of disks, tapes, print or similar media. No matter if you have a single covert speech recording or a large collection image scans/data files to examine, Fusion Corporation R&D will take the time to assist you in the hand-over process.
